Terms & Conditions

When you submit our inquiry form, the information is sent to a monitored email address of Pepper Meeks & Whitaker (the “Firm”). Please be advised that, given the volume of inquiries we receive, we cannot respond to all inquiries, and we DO NOT guarantee that we will reply to your inquiry. If we do respond, non-attorney staff will contact you to receive additional information about your matter. That information is then circulated to the Firm’s management team who will determine if the matter is suitable for the Firm and/or if an attorney at the Firm has availability to follow up with you further about potentially taking your case. After this conversation between you and one of our attorneys, if it is mutually determined that your matter is a good fit with our Firm, then we will send you an agreement outlining the terms of our representation. Upon signing our representation agreement, then and ONLY then is an attorney-client relationship established between you and the Firm.

By submitting our inquiry form, or by sending any other communication to the Firm, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. No Attorney-Client Relationship Created: Submitting an inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship. The Firm does not represent you and has not agreed to do so unless and until a formal written representation agreement is signed by both you and the Firm. The Firm reserves absolute discretion in deciding whether or not to accept representation in any specific matter.

  2. No Confidentiality Guaranteed: Please do not include any confidential or sensitive information in your message. While we will treat your inquiry with care, information submitted through this form is not protected by attorney-client privilege and may not be kept confidential except to the extent required under the Rules of Professional Conduct published by the Supreme Court of Tennessee.

  3. Conflicts Check Required: Before the Firm can represent you, we must ensure that doing so does not create a conflict of interest with any current or former client. No legal advice will be given, and no legal services will be provided until this check is complete and representation is confirmed in writing.

  4. No Legal Advice Provided: The information on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. You should not rely on any information provided here as a substitute for legal advice from an attorney.

  5. Jurisdictional Limitations: Our attorneys are licensed to practice in specific jurisdictions. We cannot guarantee that we can assist with your matter, particularly if it falls outside the jurisdictions in which we are authorized to practice.
